The Super Whites
Handmade Christmas gifts – Dry cookie mix – White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

This is a brilliant Christmas gift and only takes a few minutes to put together.

You will need a large (750g) glass jar.

3/4 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon bicarb soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup caster sugar
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup craisins
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Start off layering a clean and DRY glass jar with the flour, baking powder, bicarb and salt
Next layer the brown sugar and pack down with a spoon
Next comes the caster sugar, then rolled oats, pack down again with the spoon
Now the craisins and then lastly the white choc chips

This is what you need to attach to the gift so the receiver can turn them into delicious cookies

To complete your cookies you need to do the following:
Preheat oven to 190 degrees
Melt 125g butter and mix with 1 lightly beaten egg and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Pour dry ingredients into a bowl, mix then add wet ingredients, stir until combined.
Roll tablespoons of the mixture into balls and place on a lined baking tray 5cms apart
Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
