The Super Whites The ordinary life of a Super Mum

The Super Whites

This time of year is fraught with emotion as it is. Now throw in a rare astrological event and an end of year preschool Christmas concert and its all too much to cope with. Amy is not herself, she sobbed desperately when we left her at preschool after her concert and this afternoon when I collected her, she sobbed bitterly that next week is her last week at preschool. In fact in the car on the way to fetch Ron she cried and sniffed and told me she didn’t want to go to big school because she is going to miss her preschool teachers too much.

Gosh this is all hard and very emotionally draining. I am experiencing severe physical and emotional reactions which include a desire to eat ice-cream, sleep all the time and avoid any household duties. Sigh. Onwards.

Oh, Sarah she looks beautiful. You know deep in your heart that Amy is going to blossom at school next year. She’s a clever and bright kid. I know it’s tough that our kids are growing up xxxx

What a stunning photo of Amy! I think maybe you’re in luck – I think it’s good she’s having this reaction NOW instead of in 8 weeks’ time when she starts kindy. She’ll be over the anxiety and excited by it all then! x
