This afternoon we got to meet a suprise arrival in our lives! Samuel John Leak was born at 23.19 last night (14 September) a few weeks early, but healthy and happy.

Mum is recovering well and Dad is overwhelmed at his new baby boy! Samuel is a gorgeous little creature and it was incredible to meet him at less than 24 hours old!

And yes, in case you are wondering, it does feel incredible to hold a newborn baby in my arms and I am definitely broody all over again!
